D&E 'Tirex' Gate Closer - Silver

The D&E Tirex gate closer is a helical door spring with a pivoted arm.

The arm locates between two (2) rollers with are mounted on the door to eliminate any wear on the door.

The closing speed is adjusted by inserting the tension bar into a hole in the capstan and increasing / decreasing the tension as required. The desired tension is then held in place by a pin that is inserted into an adjacent hole.
