D&E 'Asgard' Semi-Automatic Flush Bolt with Latching Action - 35 HZS
The "Asgard" Semi Automatic, single action flush bolt is bolted automatically when the passive door leaf closes but is unbolted manually.
Same dimensions as the Automatic flush bolts 34 HZA and 37 HZA.
This flush bolt is mainly used for rebated double doors made of Timber, Steel or Aluminium pofiles without joint edge.
The bolt on 35 HZS is in it's normal state, projected to its full height. Normally it is only recommended to be installed at the top of the edge of the passive door leaves.
If 35 HZS is to be installed at the bottom, you must ensure that the projected bolt does not collide with the floor or sills etc...
At activation, when the passive door leaf closes, the bevelled bolt slides against the bottom of the lock plate and is retracted into the flush bolt, until the bolt reaches the hole in the lock plate and is projected again, at which point the bolting is complete. The unbolting is then made manually.

Recommended combination: To achieve two bolting points in the door is to fit a 35 HZA at the top and a 34 HZA at the bottom of the door leaf.

Installation:
OLDA 35HZS is fitted recessed in the edge of the door, either flush with cut-out or without cut-out for the forend.
Fixed with four countersunk screws.
