IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This item contains a powerful magnet. Avoid contact with metal objects prior to installation. Ensure to keep electronics and electrical equipment away from the magnet.
• The recommended gap under the door is 9mm to 10mm, the maximum being 15mm. If your doors are already installed and the gap exceeds 15mm, a 5mm spacer / packer may need to be fabricated to lower the striker plate. 
• Carpeted surfaces: Allow sufficient clearance of carpet thread and pile when drilling hole into floor to avoid wrapping or binding to drill bit.
• Tiled surfaces: It is recommended to use a diamond coated drill bit to avoid chipping and damage of tiles.
